It’s Day #2 on my excellent cloud adventure and I decided to dive right on in and see if I could provision a Windows 2008 R2 Server running SQL Server.  Armed with my credit card and my Amazon.com account, I signed up and created my AWS profile. In my role as VP of IT for a publicly traded company, I receive an abundance of calls, emails, mailings and drop-by visits from vendors desperate to get their foot in the door.
